Police have re-arrested all seven suspects who were discharged by an Osu District Court on Monday.
The suspects were re-arrested minutes after the Attorney-General told the court the state was no longer interested in the case.
Two of the suspects are reported to be in the custody of the Bureau of National Investigations and the rest have been sent to the Central Police Station.
One of the lawyers of the accused Evans Anaba told Joy News he is not certain as to why the Attorney-General decided to re-arrest his clients after filing a nolle prosequi.
BNI officials stormed the Osu District Magistrate's Court last week after some of the suspects were granted bail by the judge Justice Ellen Anokye.
The BNI operatives, in their efforts to intercept the suspects, allegedly drove one of their cars (a BMW with registration number GS 312-10) into that of a counsel of the accused, Senanu Ashiagbor, and dented the bonnet.
The judge later ordered the arrest of a driver of the BNI for rude behaviour.
