Former First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Freddy Blay has denied any relationship with a man accused of sodomising a 12 year old boy.
Media reports allege the suspect, known only as Ohene, is the nephew of Freddie Blay and is the manager in charge of printing of the Daily Guide Newspaper.
Ohene was reported to have used the premises of Mr. Blay’s Western Publications, to commit the dastardly act.
But the former CPP MP for Ellemble has told Joy News he is yet to be contacted by the police over the matter.
He said the suspect is not related to him or any of his employees.
“He doesn’t belong here, he doesn’t stay here,” he said, adding the incident allegedly took place in a property he is now developing.
He said the suspect only comes to the developing property to visit friends.
Freddie Blay suspected mischief by publishers of the story.
When contacted, the Nima Divisional Crime Officer Superintendent Baffour Appenteng confirmed the story but said the case has been referred to DVVSU for further investigations.
