A trade event dedicated to showcasing innovative “Made-In-Ghana” goods and brands, “Ghana-Nie” Fair is set to come off on Saturday, June, 24, 2017 at Impact Hub, Osu in Accra.
Organized by an online marketplace for African goods, Dziffa.com, the exclusive local goods market would provide a platform for entrepreneurs and consumers alike to engage for mutual benefits.
The maiden “Ghana-Nie” fair seeks to promote local innovation in business by celebrating the most creative brands in Ghana.
Ahead of the fair, selected entrepreneurs participating in the event share their success stories on the business development programme on Joy FM, Masterclass every Wednesday between 2 pm and 3 pm - throughout the month of June.
This will involve carefully-chosen topics on local innovative business principles and how the entrepreneurs applied them in building their businesses.

It is through collaboration between Dziffa.com and Joy Business under the theme “Innovation Month” on Masterclass which will see all speakers also outline to the audience, what to expect from their respective brands at the fair.
The first of the series on June 07, saw entrepreneur, Yaganoma Baatuolkuu who uses locally sourced fruits to make various beverages, wine and jam among others spoke on the topic Sankofa: Applying cultural knowledge to grow one’s business.
Her session centred on indigenous business principles she learnt from her family and women around her to build her brand “Wanjo” into what it is today.
The second edition on June 14 saw Sharon Agyapong of Eya Naturals and Paul Akrofie of RPC lead discussions on the topic “Debunking Myths” - How entrepreneurs can help their target consumers rethink their perception of the space they are in.

Paul, on the other hand, demonstrated how RPC debunked the myth that “Made-in-Ghana” goods are of low quality through the production of durable fashionable bags inspired by Kente weaving.

The third edition on June 21 is to focus on “Marketing and Sales which will see one of the organisers of the fair, Amma Aboagye discuss cultural values entrepreneurs can apply to acquire more customers. She will share experience on how aspiring entrepreneurs can boost their clientele base
The last edition of the series on June 28 will feature Dziffa Akua Ametam of dzzifa.com who will talk about the importance of collaboration and how entrepreneurs can capitalise on it than going at it alone.
She’ll use some of the vendors on the “Ghana-Nie” fair as a case study and engage listeners on not just collaborating with people outside their industries but challenging themselves to work with those they perceive as competitors.
