The excitement continues this Saturday on Multi TV’s Cine Afrik channel with the concluding part of last week’s movie “Wrath of a Woman”. Followers of the Cine Afrik Premieres program last Saturday had the opportunity to watch for the first time on television, the Silverline produced movie ‘Wrath of a Woman’. Actors Emmanuel Emoabino and Vicky Zugah who starred in the movie were in the studios of Multi TV to give more insight into the making of the movie as well as explain further the storyline of the movie. The first part of the story was about Ruth (played by Jackie Appiah) who was forced against her wish into marrying Frank (John Dumelo) a man who brutally raped her and got her pregnant in the process. Ruth’s boyfriend, Ray (played by Emmanuel Emoabino), a relatively poor man, had to let go of her because he was framed up as having stolen money from Frank’s father. Frank on the other hand had a rich father and so could afford the whole world. He had enough money to make trouble and was not remorseful about his monstrous acts. But in an interesting twist of events, Frank has low sperm count yet he accepted responsibility for Ruth’s baby. Let with no choice, Ruth was forced to marry her worst enemy, Frank. Her marriage to Frank, which was a marriage of convenience, was her family’s way of saving her the embarrassment of having a fatherless baby and a way of taping into the wealth of Frank’s family. Now the die is cast… and Ruth is out to seek revenge. What would she do and who will bear the brunt of her wrath?
