Herbalife Nutrition Ghana has organized its annual fitness walk in four cities across the country on September 23 to promote active and healthy lifestyles among Ghanaians.
The walk, which was organized in collaboration with Herbalife Nutrition’s independent distributors, attracted over 1,200 consumers and other participants who joined the fitness activities in Accra, Takoradi, Kumasi, and Tamale.
Participants walked an average of 6 kilometers through major streets of each city and were taken through some aerobic sessions to sustain their drive.
This was followed by fun games and lucky dips to climax the events of the day.
Speaking at the event, Country Director of Herbalife Nutrition Ghana, Mr. Fredrick Amissah stressed the need to enhance the overall quality of life through good nutrition and consistent exercise.
He reiterated the need to ensure active lifestyles by including physical activities in everyday routines.
“We at Herbalife Nutrition are dedicated to making the world healthier and happier and I want to encourage all of you to stay healthy always and become the best version of yourselves,” he said.
Endorsing their core philosophy of facilitating a healthy and active lifestyle, Herbalife Nutrition Ghana used the opportunity to carry out some wellness and fitness evaluations and sample the company’s products.
A subsidiary of Global Nutrition Company, Herbalife Nutrition Incorporated, Herbalife Nutrition Ghana deals in nutritional shakes, vitamins, and nutritional supplements, energy and fitness drinks as well as skin and hair care products.
