Head Pastor of Calvary Charismatic Centre in Kumasi, is calling for severe sanctions against government officials whose misdeeds cause harm to Ghanaians.
Pastor Ransford Obeng observes the recent fatal gas explosion in Accra and floods in parts of the country were caused by failure to comply with the law.
He spoke at a news conference ahead of a three-day encounter with President of Eastwood Anaba Ministries, Reverend Eastwood Anaba.
Pastor Obeng is worried some government officials sign contracts with selfish interest at the expense of the general good of the country.
He wants President Akufo Addo to be bold enough to punish errant appointees of his government.
On corruption, Pastor Obeng believes the fear of God is the only antidote to eradicating the canker from the Ghanaian society.
He says God-fearing people will never engage in acts that have retarded national development.
The Calvary Charismatic Centre is leading crusade through spiritual empowerment and other initiatives to inculcate the fear of God in Ghanaians.
Pastor Obeng is positive about the expected impact of the campaign on Ghana’s development.
