The voice behind the hit songs of most of Ghana’s top musicians has finally broken free and is preparing to hit the lime light with a debut single after several years of churning out hit songs from behind the microphones.
Known in real life as Yvonne Ohene Djan, SHE as many call her within the showbiz circles has been a constant female voice in a lot of hit songs in the country cutting across all genres of music, from Hip life to Hi-life through to reggae and Gospel.
So why has it taken her so long to break into the spot light? It has been a matter of ‘time’ was her response.
According to SHE, “working with these great names in the industry all these years was worth the time as I learnt a lot from them, all the featuring and contributions played a role in shaping my music career for the better, so after all these experiences, I feel my time is now to take the world by storm”.
As to what is in the pipe line for SHE, the break-out artiste said “I have a single yet to be released for first time air play plus other activities that will be unveiled with time by management”.
SHE is managed by Straight Up Entertainment and together with her team, SHE is promising the best of music for the public, “the type of music which will suit both the elite and the lay person” she hinted.
The singer’s debut single is being recorded by the renowned Tema-based sound engineer, Kaywa.
