Over 30 houses in Anloga in the Keta Municipality were yesterday torched after a high tension cable fell on them.
According to Victory FM’s Ivy Setordjie, the incident destroyed a good number of electrical gadgets while a number of houses from the Zion College of West Africa to the Low Cost area suffered partial destruction.
Victims whose homes suffered the most spent the night with friends and relatives.
She said the incident happened while most residents were away to work and it took the timely intervention of the Fire Service to put out the fire to avert a worse situation.
