The Operations Director of the Friends of Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings (FONKAR) Ernest Owusu Bempah has been granted Police inquiry bail. Police sources confirmed this to Joy News Friday. Ernest Owusu Bempah, who was arrested on Wednesday after alleging that First Lady Ernestina Naadu Mills received $5 million from the Woyome judgment debt payments, was reported to have gone through torture at the Greater Accra regional offices of the Bureau of National Investigations. Bempah was largely expected to be arraigned before court Thursday, to answer to the charge of publishing false information with the intent to cause fear and panic, however after waiting the entire day and searching all the courts, his lawyers said they could not trace him.
