A two-year-old girl was crushed to death when a wall collapsed on her and wounded another at Gboxome a suburb of Hohoe.
Anita Geli the victim died instantly, while the wounded eight-year old girl, Peace Hehetror is responding to treatment at the Hohoe District hospital with fractured legs.
Mr Daniel Ablodey, Hohoe District Police Commander who briefed the Ghana News Agency said the unfortunate incident occurred on September 6, this year, when the wall caved in and trapped the two.
In a related development, Musah Ali, an 18 year-old spraying apprentice was electrocuted at his master’s workshop, behind the Melcom Stores at about 1730 hours, on September 4, at Hohoe.
Dr Edwin Danoo, Medical Superintendent of the Hohoe District Hospital attributed the death to cardio respiratory failure resulting from the electrocution.
