Standard Chartered Bank (StanChart) has indicated that it will explore a mix of branch opening and electronic channels to extend banking services to their customers.
This is part of the bank’s new strategy to establish its presence in every part of the country as competition in the sector intensifies.
Speaking to journalists, visiting Group Chair of Standard Chartered Bank Sir John Peace says this should help position the bank as the most profitable in the country.
“With distribution network we think there are opportunities for us to invest and significantly to grow our distribution network here in Ghana, but at the same time, raise the quality and standard of the branches that we have.”
StanChart currently has 21 branches in the country
