Tension is said to be mounting among students of the University of Cape Coast in the Central Region following accusations of misuse of SRC monies by the current executive.
A group calling itself UCC House of Parliament is accusing the SRC executives of using huge sums of money on what it says is an unjustified trip abroad by members of the Council.
The accusers say the SRC executives spent the money on their selfish travel without proper authorization. The group led by Richard Nii Armah has passed a resolution which among other things calls on students to boycott this year’s SRC week and show their displeasure for the inability of the students leadership to fight for their interests.
