Defunct music trio, Praye seem to have buried their differences to make a historic comeback after four years.
The group, made of Praye Tintin, Praye Honeho and Praye Tiatia, performed together for the first time in four years at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Saturday night.
When host of the ‘Overdrive’ and ‘Weekend City Show’ on Joy FM, Sammy Forson introduced the group, many didn’t expect to see the trio.
Praye Tintin, Praye Honeho and Praye Tiatia stormed the stage to the delight of patrons at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
They took them back into time dishing out their hit songs including ‘Angelina’, ‘Jacket’ and ‘Wodin’.
It was their first performance together in years and they were simply a delight to watch!
The group kept shouting and asking, “Are you happy Praye is back?
Praye came into mainstream music in 2004 after they emerged winners at the maiden edition of the Nescafe African Revelations talent hunt.
In 2014, members of the group went their separate ways but two of them (Tintin and Tiatia) came back later to keep the group.
