The cross examination of Former Minister for Education and Sport Yaw Osafo Maafo in the ongoing criminal trial of businessman Alfred Woyome continues today.
At the last hearing, the former Education and Sports Minister in giving evidence revealed that Vamed Engineering, the company Alfred Woyome worked for, was not interested in bidding for the construction of the stadia for CAN 2008.
Mr. Osafo Maafo said in reaction to a letter by government to abort the tender process, Vamed said it was active in health care projects only and had no qualification and no interest in the award of contracts for stadia projects.
