The Vice president John Mahama has just launched the Brand Ghana program. Brand Ghana is an initiative by government to stimulate economic, social and psychological well being of Ghanaians through developing and implementing a proactive and integrated national and international competitive strategy. Executive director of Brand Ghana Matthias Akotia told Joynews the theme for the launch is Come alive with our homeland Ghana. “2010 we had an identity summit as the culmination of all the processes of consultation and consensus building. “Today we have the launch of the Brand Ghana programe which means the public phase of the programme is taking off today. He explained that the Brand Ghana programme has now been brought to the people of Ghana. “What we are looking for is for Ghanaians to have Brand Ghana mindedness and behavior,” he said.
