President John Dramani Mahama says funeral arrangements for the late President John Evans Attah Mills would be announced announced by close of Friday.
A sombre President Mahama disclosed this when the leadership of the People's National Convention (PNC)called on him at the Castle to sympathize with him and the country during these trying moments.
The PNC delegation was led by the party's flag-bearer, Mr. Hassan Ayariga.
The family of the late President have been locked in a series of meetings following the death of the first gentleman of the land to discuss the funeral arrangements.
The late Prof. Evans Attah Mills died on Tuesday after being rushed to the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
It is expected the funeral arrangements to be announced by the family today would put to rest where the former president would be buried.
