The Volta Regional Security Council is yet to meet to consider the conditions set by the Gbi Traditional Council demanding a public apology and a bond of good behavior to be renewed every year.
These conditions were issued in the aftermath of the communal clashes between indigenes of the community and the Zongo community in Hohoe last month.
The Gbi Traditional Council, as part of their requirements demanded that the Muslims appease the deity of the people of Hohoe, as well as the demolition of all Zongo houses within 150 meters of River Adaa.
Even though the Muslims have complained about the severity of the conditions, the Gbi Traditional Council insists the conditions are not harsh.
Speaking to Joy News The Regional Minister Henry Ford Kamel however insisted the security council was yet to take a decision on the outlined conditions.
Mr Kamel also added that the government was making provision for the creation of an independent committee to interrogate the communal clashes that led to loss of lives and property.
