About 25 junior golfers would parade at the Tema Country Golf Course to compete in this year's Desimone Ghana Limited Juniors Open Golf championship trophy on Saturday, October 6.The two-day 36 Hole Scratch event which is under the auspices of the Ghana Golf Association, would be played in two divisions.Mr. John Wattenburg, Secretary of the Ghana Golf Association, who announced this at Tema on Monday, said the Division A which is the Silver and Division B, the Bronze events would be played under the rules of the Royal ancient Golf Club and the local rules of the Tema Country Golf Club.He announced that 12 golfers would be selected from the competition and would be given further training for them to represent Ghana in international competitions next year.Three prizes each would be awarded in both divisions.Source: GNA
