Lawyers for the embattled business man Alfred Woyome say their client received short notice to appear before the committee.
Media reports have been rife about Woyome refusing to attend to the summons of the Public Accounts Committee but the lawyers say Woyome received the summons one hour to the time he is expected to appear before the committee.
A statement issued Thursday said Alfred Woyome needs a reasonable time to appear before the committee.
