Elmina Sharks owner Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom has been asked to join a government delegation travelling to Zurich, Switzerland for a meeting with FIFA as they seek to restructure Ghana Football.
Dr Ndoum’s inclusion was confirmed in a letter signed by FIFA official Veron Mosengo-Omba and addressed to the Ghana Football Association on Tuesday.
The 2016 Presidential Candidate of the Progressive People's Party (PPP) and Nana Sam Brew-Butler, who runs Ebusua Dwarfs, have been stated as representatives of the elite league clubs and will accompany the Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah.
Also invited are Ghana Football Association officials Kweku Eyiah and Alex Asante.
The meeting is the second in a series of talks and follows an initial one in Accra last week. That meeting, described as "fruitful" by Fifa, included Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah, Information Minister Mustapha Hamid and other key government functionaries in Accra last week.
The meeting was occasioned by government’s intervention in Ghana football following revelations of alleged bribery and corruption by some referees and football administrators.
