If you are an email user and an avid one at that, be on the lookout for email hackers who take control of e-mails for fraudulent activities.
The latest victim is renowned lawyer Dr. Raymond Atuguba.
He lost control of his email account for six hours with messages sent to his contacts of him stranded in Scotland and in need of help with 1200 pounds to come back home.
Speaking to Joy News Dr Atuguba explained that his ordeal over the six hour window affected business activities and advised mail users to use strong passwords and alternative mails as a precautionary measure.
His ordeal comes weeks after the Member of Parliament for Ho West Hon Emmanuel Bedzrah also had his email accounts hacked.
The hackers attempted to defraud his business partners but failed.
Both men have asked the security to be vigilant on internet crimes and more importantly for users of e-mail accounts to be more careful.
