Ghana international Nicholas Opoku has joined Italy's Udinese, signing a four-year deal reported to be worth €1.5 million.
The 20-year-old defender joins from Tunisia's Club Africain.
"Opoku is a defender that has been highlighted in the last year,'' said Sporting Director of the Technical Area Daniele Pradè. '' At the orders of [coach] Mr Velazquez, he will have the opportunity to put his characteristics to good use ".
He joins fellow Black Stars teammate Emmanuel Agyemang Badu in Udine after the latter rejoined the side after a loan deal in Turkey last season.
Opkou joined Club Africain in 2017 from Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea. He made 18 appearances as Club Africain finished third in Tunisian topflight last season.
He has been capped twice by the Black Stars.
