Some parents in the Ho Municipality have expressed frustration at their inability to print out the details of Senior High Schools and Technical Schools their wards have been placed in by the Computerised Schools Selection and Placements (CSSPs) Secretariat. They said their inability to obtain the prints out of the placements was making it difficult for them begin admission processes for their wards. The parents who talked to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) said they have obtained information on their wards’ placements on the internet as directed by the CSSPS.Information gathered by the GNA from some internet cafes in the Municipality indicated that the CSSPS has not opened its website for such information.A visit to some of the Senior High Schools in town showed that they were yet to receive the lists of first year students posted to them. The parents observed that the short period between the delayed first term, mid-October to December and the commencement of the second term at the end of December could place huge financial burdens on them. They therefore asked government to take steps to take the delay into consideration in determining the second term school fees to mitigate the burden.
