Students of Wesley College Practice School in Kumasi cannot use newly-constructed classrooms because the contractor is refusing to hand over the facility.
Joyflux Construction Company alleges it has not been paid for work on the GETFund project. As a result, authorities have been compelled to suspend ICT lessons and converted the laboratory into a classroom.
Headmaster, George Sarfo Kantanka, told Luv News the ICT laboratory has been converted into a classroom due to the contractor’s actions.
According to him, the contractor claims she’s yet to conclude works on the facility despite the fact that the project looks visibly completed.
Mr Sarfo Kantanka revealed that the situation has led to the suspension of ICT classes because the school lacks adequate facilities for the subject. The library too, has been converted into a classroom.
CEO of Joyflux told Luv FM she's expecting GETFund to pay outstanding monies owed her for the project to be completed.
