Coordinators of the School Feeding Programme have intensified monitoring of the programme across the country following reports that some school children are dissatisfied with the quality of the food they are given. Some pupils of Alogboshie primary and JHS complained to Joy News about the quality and ration of food given them. But Public Relations Officer of the programme, Siiba Alfa said the programme is being monitored on daily basis to ensure the caterers do not fall below the standards required. “We are monitoring the programme on a daily basis and then when we get cases like this we try to investigate and then come out with appropriate sanctions,” he said.
