National Security officials in Ghana are investigating 32 people including six minors who were arrested at a training camp at Tongo-Dzemeni in the South Dayi District of the Volta Region.
The suspected combatants were undergoing training with offensive weapons under the cover of darkness.
The National Security Coordinator, Col. Larry Gbevlo-Lartey who confirmed this to Joy News said the suspects; including some Ghanaians and other African nationals were being interrogated.
He said it was too early to tell the real motive for the training, even though he admitted the training was a bit unusual.
He said the training sessions were done at odd hours and assured that national security will get to the bottom of the matter.
Gbevlo Lartey said the suspects were now being questioned and the outcome will be made public.
