The Ghana Muslim Students' Association has called on Muslims to open a new chapter in their lifestyle that would attract non-Muslims to the religion.
The association said there was the need for Muslims to eschew immoral practices that could tarnish the image of Islam.
This was contained in a congratulatory message signed by Haruna Abraham, Vice President of the Association, to Muslims on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr.
The message said life in the month of Ramadan was not different from the rest of the months though Ramadan reigned supreme.
''The experience gained during the period should ginger Muslims to do more to improve their lives and Islam.''
The message appealed to Muslim youth to work hard and be prepared to take up leadership positions to promote the socio-economic and political development of the country.
The message appealed to all Ghanaians, especially those in the Zongo communities, to conduct themselves in a manner that would not contravene the thrust of multiparty democracy.
