The country's ultimate drive show, Drive Time on Joy was on Saturday adjudged the country's best radio programme.
The show, hosted by Kwabena Anokye Adisi popularly known as Bola Ray emerged Radio Programme of the Year at this year's Globa Radio and Television Personality Awards which came off at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Center Saturday night.
Drive Time on Joy has over the year's carved a niche for itself as the only drive show that gives listeners a unique blend of good music spiced with unadulterated news, information and education.
Airing Monday to Friday, from 3pm to 8pm, it serves listeners that quenching relief from the day's work and traffic stress cruising them smoothly home.
Powered by a dedicated team of producers and a master chef, who is not new to radio excellence, the show constantly beats its competitors across the length and breadth of the country.
The show's interactivity with its listeners during the Drive Talk segment, which touches on critical social issues, is unparalleled, capped by the one of a kind, Personality Profile on Thursdays from 7pm to 8pm.
Personality Profile is that one hour interview with notable achievers who do not only add life to your evening, they always inspire you to greater heights.
Several notable personalities such, Former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, Actress Ama K Abebrese and former CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Mines, Joyce Rosalind Aryee, have graced the Personality Profile chair of the show.
One cannot forget the world's greatest acts who have warmed the chairs of the show: Akon, Ludacris, Sean Paul, Shaggy, Bow Wow, Cabo Snoop and Sarkodie are just but a few of the big names the show has hosted.
Drive Time on Joy, according to Bola Ray, is dedicated to giving listeners the ultimate experience on radio.
Other personalities from the Multimedia Group who also won awards at the event include, Blakk Rasta who was adjudged Reggae Show Host of the Year and Nii Ardey Clegg of Multi-TV’s PM-Express, Television Current Affairs Show host of the Year.
Joy News’ Jefferson Sackey was adjudged Best Correspondent of the Year while Rev Gabriel Ansah of Adom FM won Radio Gospel Show Host of the Year.
