Chief Executive Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mr. Mark Noonan has said, the club is focused on building a world-class institution, with better infrastructures to attract international markets.
“We are operating on a lean workforce at the secretariat and need more qualified hands to help us build the things we desire about and trying to build.
“We need an operating capital to bring the club to where you all want it to go and to be at and with the necessary measures and mechanisms in place, Hearts of Oak, would never be the same.
“We are competing with the world, but not in Africa alone, because football is a global language, and we have to develop with so much facilities and infrastructure, just like the developed countries,” Mr Noonan said this at the Annual General Meeting of the club on Wednesday.
The meeting discussed issues relating to the present and future of the club with financial reports and statement for the year ended 30th June 2017.
The meeting was also to approve the remuneration of Directors, to authorize the Directors to negotiate and determine the remuneration of the Auditors, to confirm the appointment of three new Directors and to authorize the Directors to increase the Rights Issue from GH¢10milliom to GH¢30million.
