AirtelTigo has appointed new executives to the management team to consolidate its gains in the country's telecommunication industry.
Emmanuel Adjei, a corporate lawyer with 17 years working experience with vast expertise in Information Communications Technology (ICT) regulation and compliance, has been appointed Chief Legal & Regulatory Officer.
Prince Sarpong, the former IT Services Director assumes the role of Chief Information Officer as the organization reinforces its Technology function. Mr. Sarpong is of extensive IT and Business transformation experience, which spans across the Africa region.
AirtelTigo's current Chief Operation Officer, Murthy Chaganti, assumes additional responsibility for the commercial function.
Mr Chaganti, has been with the organization since January 2018 prior to which he was with Airtel India, where he left a track record of driving strong commercial performance while building and developing talent within the team.
These executives take over from others who are moving on from the organization to pursue other interests; Hannah Agbozo, Amir Abdelazim and Arslan Khan who till now have headed Legal & Regulatory, Technology and Commercial functions respectively.
Bright Owusu-Bempah, Chief Financial Officer is also said to be moving on in December 2018.
CEO of AirtelTigo, Mitwa Kaemba Ng’ambi congratulated all appointed executives and wished them well on the "journey of growth that lies ahead for our business. We also celebrate those departing, whom we wish the very best in their future endeavours”.
AirtelTigo has made significant strides in the consolidation of its business and networks which is to see its customers enjoy an enhanced customer experience once completed.
