Members of the International Church of Christ, (Accra Christian Church) on Thursday presented 22 bags of rice and several bags of used clothes meant for flood victims of the Northern regions of Ghana.
Mr. Kojo Atta-Bronyah who led a delegation of the church to present the items to Joy FM for onward transmission to the victims, said they were touched by the plight of the victims and decided to help with their widow’s mite.
“In line with what the Bible says in James 1:27, to look after the orphans and widows in their distress, we the Accra Christian Church saw it as a great privilege to present these food items and clothes to our brothers and sisters who are in a state of distress as a result of flood in the North.
“We hope this will help relieve their distress,” said the church.
Mr. Victor Azumah, Human Resource Manager of Joy FM, received the items and thanked the church for supporting a worthy cause.
