Sergio Busquets will reportedly sign a new and improved contract at Barcelona before the end of the month.
The 30-year-old's existing deal with the Catalan giants runs until the summer of 2021, with his release clause set in the region of £180m.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, the midfielder's agent Josep Maria Orobitg has held talks with Barcelona over a new deal, and an announcement will be made over the next couple of weeks.
The report claims that Busquets will receive an increase in salary, while the contract will be extended for another two years until 2023, in addition to including a new buy-out clause of £450m.
The Spain international came through the youth system at Camp Nou and is nearing 500 appearances for the Spanish champions in all competitions.
The midfielder is currently with his national team preparing for Saturday's UEFA Nations League clash with England.
