The Gonjaland Youth Association, Greater Accra Branch, has congratulated President John Mahama for his victory in the 2012 election, commending him for making them proud.
“You truly deserve your success. Your victory is an achievement you have truly earned taking into consideration your contribution to the politics of Ghana. The road was tough, but you did an excellent job. You never lost your faith and courage, which eventually brought you this success.
“As a member of our Association, you have made us all proud. Your character, composure, focuses and courage, has earned you this success and glory and we are grateful to God. Your re-election is a confirmation of the confidence Ghanaians have in you, your government and your style of leadership and we hope you will work hard with the same spirit and zeal to make Ghanaians proud.
“We hope you can now persuade Government to seriously consider the socio-economic challenges of the country.
“The task ahead is daunting but we pray that you always succeed in whatever you do as President of this Great country,” the association said in a statement issued in Accra.
The Chairman of the association, Mr. Alhassan Dramani, said he expects that the president’s performance in office will justify the confidence placed in him by the youth of Ghana.
