Some Heads of State and other dignitaries who arrived in the country to witness the inauguration of President John Dramani Mahama on Monday, have left the country after the event.
The departed dignitaries include President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria and his entourage, President Yayi Boni of Benin and La Cote d’Ivoire President Allasane Ouatarra and their teams.
Others are the delegations from Iran led by its Foreign Minister, and Equatorial Guinea’s President Teodora Nbiang Nguema Mbasogo.
They were seen off by some officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
