I have been to hell. That’s what the silence of an eleven year old girl who had her buttocks burnt by her grandparents communicated to Anna Agyepong who visited her in hospital today.
The grandparents placed her butt in boiling water to punish her for her continuous bed-wetting.
The stepmother of the little girl, Madam Christiana Torkono allegedly forced her to sit on boiling water.
Her grandfather James Agbamavo, made matters worse by going to purchase indelible ink to apply on the bruised buttocks and left her in a room for days until police rescued her yesterday, Tuesday.
Joy News Anna Agyepong visited the young girl at the Police Hospital where she laid pain but is said to be responding to treatment.
Public Relations Officer of the hospital, ASP Juliana Obeng says doctors are working around the clock to ensure she recovers fast.
