It was a dream come true for some customers of Western Union’s Year End promotion. The promotion is organized in December every year as part of the festive season.
This year, 80 lucky customers were given the opportunity to shop for free to the tune of GHC 400.
Six others have also been selected to fly to South Africa to support Ghana in the African Cup of Nations tournament.
The promotion was open to customers who used the money transfer service within the promotional period.
A customer would simply pick a coupon after collecting money at any of Western Union’s agent locations across the country. All these coupons were entered into a total of three draws to select winners.
80 winners were selected from two draws held at the First National Bank in Tema Community 1 and at the Zenith Bank in the North Industrial Area.
The final draw selected Mieri Musah, Janet Boateng, George Dodoo, Joseph Amoah, Joyce Afriyie and Juliet Priscilla Lutterodt as the six lucky winners to fly to South Africa, this was held at the ADB, Danquah Circle branch.
Western Union Money Transfer, the global leader in the money transfer services, has over the years rewarded thousands of customers with exciting promotions.
In Ghana, these promotions include the annual Easter promotions, Back to School and Year End promotions, which reward many customers with a variety of prizes.
With over 1200 agent locations currently in Ghana, Western Union has made it easier for people to receive money from their loved ones abroad through agents like ADB, Ecobank, The Trust Bank, ARB Apex, Access Bank, NIB, Prudential Bank, Cal Bank, Fidelity Bank, Zenith Bank, GT Bank, Unibank, Merchant Bank, GCB and SG-SSB.
