The Electoral Commission (EC) has fixed February 6 as the date for the elections of regional representatives to the Council of State.
A statement signed by the Commission’s Deputy Chairman in charge of Operations, Kwadwo Sarfo-Kantanka, said nominations will be open on January 21 and 22 from 8:00am to 12:00 noon and from 2pm and 4pm.
According to the statement, nomination forms will be available at all EC regional offices.
It urged prospective candidates to submit two recent photographs to the returning officer when submitting their nomination forms.
