This week, at least three teenagers have been brutalized, one of them by military men. A shooting incident in which a civilian was shot by military men at Kasoa-Millenium City last year was also revisited.
An inquiry conducted by the Military High Command concluded that the 23 soldiers who were involved in the shooting were only acting in self-defence when they shot at three people during a demolition.
The family of the man killed by soldiers rejected the alleged report exonerating the soldiers from any wrongdoing.
Brother of the deceased, Samuel Darko told Joy News the account given by eyewitnesses, including a Criminal Investigations Department (CID) investigator and an Assistant Superintendent of Police contradicted the version provided by the Army.
Also on Monday, doctors at the Accident Center of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital were reportedly unable to operate on patients with emergency cases due to the lack of some key logistics.
Then on Tuesday, an Accra High Court adjourned the case involving Gregory Afoko following a petition from the late Adams Mahama family.

The case was adjourned to May 3, 2016, by Justice Lawrence Lazaglah Mensah to enable the court await directive from the Chief Justice on a petition filed by the Adams Mahama family.
An Accra Magistrate Court also ordered the release of suspected killer of former Abuakwa North MP, Daniel Asiedu from the custody of the Bureau of National Investigations and be sent to the police custody.

On Wednesday, it was revealed at the Public Accounts Committee Sitting that the Nsawam Government Hospital had ceased providing healthcare services to inmates over some 80,000 cedis debt.
Also, a father questioned the circumstances under which his 15-year-old boy was arrested and detained for allegedly defacing posters of President Mahama.

On Thursday, President John Mahama said Ghanaians who are not feeling the prosperity in the economy may be lacking the skills need to take advantage of the opportunities his government has created.
He made the statement during a radio interview with Ho based Volta Star Radio and added that his government was the first ever to punish its own people who are involved in corruption.
Also, 16-year-old boy who tried to stop a tenant from attacking his father sustained severe acid burns after the tenant poured a corrosive substance on him.

On the same day, two High Court justices, Justice Kofi Essel Mensah and Justice Francis K Opoku were fired for stated misbehavior.
And the Supreme Court froze the National Media Commission Media Law.
Then on Friday, another sad story of a 16-year-old boy who was brutalized by some military men for five hours over phone theft broke.

Additionally, the Military High Command denied acquitting some 23 officials who were involved in a shooting incident which got a civilian killed at Kasoa.
Also, it emerged from a research report by the World Health Organization that over 6500 Ghanaians die every year from air pollution.
