Many passengers expected to travel to Accra with Starbow Airline have been stranded at the Kumasi Airport in the Ashanti Region.
Amongst the stranded passengers is the presidential candidate of the Convention Peoples’ Party Dr Abu Sakara Foster.
Information available to Joy News indicates that the pilot who is supposed to fly them to Accra has refused to do so.
The predicament of the passengers, reports say, has been exacerbated by a power failure which has enveloped the entire airport in sinister darkness.
The frustrated passengers are said to be using torch lights to search for their luggage.
Convention Peoples Party’s flagbearer Dr. Abu Sakara, told Joy News attempts to even get a word from the officials were met with contempt.
