Chief Executive Premier Aesthetic Clinic has attributed the misconception around botox to the abuse by some patrons.
Jahara Osman said some persons who undergo these procedures tend to unnecessarily overindulge.
She made these comments at the clinic’s Botox Party in Accra on Friday, September 10, 2021.
Botox injections primarily reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles. They are also used to treat conditions such as neck spasms, excessive sweating, overactive bladders and lazy eyes.
The injections may also help prevent chronic migraines.

This sometimes creates unpleasant results when applied without the right medical advice, which may be not be appealing to the public.
The development, Mad Osman said, fuels the narrative that botox is counterproductive.
She urged the public to disregard the negative perception and take advantage of the benefits associated with the act.

Premier Aesthetic Clinic is a clinic and wellness centre which offers not only surgical and non-surgical locations but also technical advice on beauty.
Their services range from facials, laser, IV infusions, fillers, fat loss, teeth whitening and some invasive procedure (liposuction, breast implants, Brazilian butt-lift and mummy makeover).
