As part of activities to mark its 90th anniversary, Achimota School over the weekend held a praise jam to glorify God for his protection over the years.
Dubbed: ‘Achimota Subjugated in Worship’, the event was electrifying and the presence of God descended to touch and bless lives.
The forecourt of the school’s administration block on Saturday September 23, 2017 was packed to capacity with guests who enjoyed inspiring performances from the finest Gospel musicians in Ghana.
These included Joe Mettle, Harmonious Chorale and many others who ushered guests into the presence of God in an unusual way.
Apart from the, the Achimota School choir put up a sterling performance as the show opener to the admiration of the crowd.
The artistes billed for the event mounted the stage one after the other and they treated olds students, teachers and students to unforgettable live performances.
It was a day of unforgettable day when Joe Mettle mounted the stage and thrilled the audience with his various hit songs. He set the venue on fire with his stagecraft and unique style of delivery.
It was an amazing atmosphere, with the audience singing the chorus to the glory of God.
Joe Mettle was consistent and controlled the audience. It was a hilarious spectacle as the prolific Ghanaian gospel artiste treated the excited audience to some serious dance moves on stage.
He also charmed the audience, as usual, with his creative stagecraft and got the entire audience singing along.
For the about 30 minutes he was on stage, Joe Mettle got patrons dancing and singing along with him.
His performance was well enjoyed and the audience wanted more even when emcee Jackie Ankrah said his time was up.
The maiden Achimota Subjugated in Worship’ was awesome and had high patronage taking into consideration the good quality sound and the show was well organized.
