Adekunle Gold has taken to Instagram to share with the world his own birthday message for his wife Simi, who turned a year older on April 19.
"Shalla to my one and only. Na you be my Alobam. Simi you’re one in a million... I wrote this song for you 6 years ago. As a young man that was just trying to figure life out, you had just come into my life and my world started changing magically," he wrote.
According to Adekunle Gold, Simi was his good luck charm gifted to him by God, while he was still struggling to make something out of his life.
The 'Young Love' hitmaker added that "he who finds a wife…” I am the He because Simi, you fill my darkest days with your light. I am blessed to have you doing life with me."
Adekunle stated that his wife is his muse when he is writing all his love songs adding that, she would be the inspiration behind the book he would write some day.
Life without Simi, he said would "suck."
