League leaders Aduana Stars opened up a four point lead in the ongoing Glo premier league following a late victory over Sekondi Eleven Wise in the 17th week league fixture.
Aduana Stars were awarded a late penalty which was expertly converted for the only goal of the match.
The Herbert Addo led team now have 32 points with three teams- Hearts of Oak, Ashgold and Wa All Stars occupying the second spot with 28 points apiece.
Hearts of Oak were humbled by local rivals Liberty Professionals in a dramatic 3-2 score line played at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium.
It is the second straight victory for the Dansoman based side, having thumped Hasaacas 4-1 in the opening game of the second round of the premier league.
Edmund Owusu Ansah in the 22nd minute powered Hearts of Lions to a lone goal victory over Kessben FC at the Kpando Park.
Ashgold piped New Edubiase 2-1 in another pulsating local derby at the Lenclay Sports Stadium.
Home side Sekondi Hasaacas also beat Berekum Arsenals by a lone goal courtesy an Enoch Ayison goal.
Wa All Stars also held Kumasi Asante Kotoko to a goalless draw game.
Accra Great Olympics also held Beechem Chelsea to a goalless draw game
