The official draw ceremony of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations will hold on July 5 at Tanz Cafe, Emperors Palace, Ekurhuleni in Johannesburg, South Africa, CAF said on Wednesday.
The 14 countries that emerged from the preliminaries and first round will confront the 16 teams that participated in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations to winnow out the 15 nations to join host South Africa for the finals.
The teams that have qualified for the second and final round are Mozambique, Zimbabwe, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Togo, Malawi, Uganda, Cameroon, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cape Verde and Algeria.
Egypt and Central African Republic will play their return leg qualifier in Bangui on June 30, and the winner will complete the above lot. CAR carried off the first leg 3-2 in Alexandria last weekend.
The final round fixtures are scheduled for September 7-9 and October 12-14 and 15, while the tournament will hold from January 19 to February 10, 2013 in South Africa.
