AS Roma forward, Felix Afena-Gyan, opened his scoring account for the Black Stars on Wednesday, June 1, in the emphatic win over Madagascar in Ghana's 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier opener.
The 19-year-old scored the second of three goals at the Cape Coast Stadium as Ghana secured all three points.
Afena-Gyan was teed by Gideon Mensah after 56 minutes played to extend Ghana's lead after Kudus Mohammed had scored the game's opener three minutes earlier.
