The Africa Environment and Sanitation Consult (AFESC), the research arm of the Jospong Group of Companies, signed an MoU with the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Friday, June 21.
This partnership aims to promote environmental sustainability through research and education.

Addressing the UEW management and the media on the motivation behind this collaboration, Dr Abena Asomaning Antwi, Managing Director of AFESC, said, "In pursuing the Environmental Sustainability agenda, AFESC aspires to make an impact beyond our employees.
"We deem it expedient to partner with academia in researching Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG)."

"We had a very good experience working with some of your students on research projects, and we believe this collaboration will be mutually beneficial," she added.
UEW Vice-Chancellor, Professor Stephen Jobson Mitchual, expressed his happiness about the partnership with AFESC to advance environmental sustainability.
