Airtel Ghana has launched a new brand campaign dubbed “My paddies, my network” to boost its brand presence in the country.
The new campaign, which rides on the theme of friendship, is aimed at strengthening Airtel as a youth brand offering products and services relevant for the active youth group and other categories of customers.
Managing Director of Airtel Ghana, Philip Sowah said at the launch that Airtel’s new brand campaign is about friendship, success and getting to the very top, which is what Airtel stands for.
“We realize the importance of friendships in the daily lives of Ghanaians. These friendships tend to be across various ages. But we also realize that these friendships were often started when we were younger; from our Junior and Senior high schools or from our university days”, Mr. Sowah said.
He also reiterated that there have been instances where “friendships have lifted our spirits, helped us to scale over difficult situations, helped us to gain jobs, ideas etc. Our paddies have become our families, and we have largely been unable to live life without them. It is this sort of friendship that we at Airtel want to help nurture, grow and develop”.
Mr. Sowah said “My paddies, my network”, which will drive Airtel’s campaigns going forward will also enable customers to aspire to greater heights.
