Information available to Joy News indicates that former Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama is in critical condition as he battles for his life at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.Alhaji Aliu, who has been on admission at the Cardio Centre of the Korle bu Hospital since last week, is said to be suffering from a condition which doctors have declined to name for the time being.The former vice president, Joy News learnt, is on life support as his condition is deteriorating.Reporting from the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Joy News’ Manesseh Azure said that the doctors taking care of the former Vice President have confirmed that he is in critical condition. He added, however, that certain speculative media reports have exaggerated the gravity of Mahama's condition.Manesseh Azure said that family members have yet to issue a statement but noted that their faces appeared gloomy.
