Accra’s National Theatre will come alive on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 7 PM when Jeffrey Nortey brings his flagship production, 3 Faces of Jeffrey Nortey, to the heart of the city.
Best known for his dynamic blend of acting, comedy and spoken word, Nortey invites audiences into a mono-dramatic journey where three vivid characters emerge in a single evening of storytelling, satire and poetic rhythm.
When this show first debuted at Snap Cinema Hall in partnership with Focuz Afriq and Kasa Entertainment, tickets sold out and an overflow crowd of 300 patrons confirmed that Ghanaians are eager for this intimate style of theatre. Rather than a simple sketch, the evening unfolds through original music and spoken-word interludes that carry the narrative from one persona to the next. Clever puns and punchlines, known to Gen Z audiences as “bars,” punctuate the performance and carry the energy from dramatic tension to bursts of laughter.
Beyond entertainment, each character on stage reflects a facet of social life in Ghana today, touching on economic challenges, generational divides and questions of cultural identity. Through his craft, Nortey has transformed this production into both a platform for social reflection and a vehicle for positive change among youth and marginalised communities.
This year’s event is even more star-studded. In addition to Jeffrey Nortey’s masterful performance, seasoned comedians and comic actors Jeneral Ntatia, Clemento Suarez, Parrot Mouth, Kojo Pjay, Kalsoume Sinare, Nino Brown, Big Ghun and Khemikal will each bring their own flair to the evening. Fans can also look forward to a surprise appearance by a popular musician, adding another layer of excitement to the night.

With support from Focuz Afriq, Kasa Entertainment, Evivi Ghana and Fam Global the production moves to the larger National Theatre to meet growing demand. Tickets are already in high demand and can be secured by dialling shortcode 71333*783# on any network. Single tickets are 150 GHS, double passes are 280 GHS and VIP seats are 300 GHS.
Audiences should prepare for a close-up theatrical experience that blends character-driven storytelling with live musical accompaniment on both traditional and contemporary instruments. After the final bow, post-show conversations will offer a chance to delve deeper into the themes and creative choices that make this event unique. With its seamless fusion of multiple art forms, its growing reputation as a must-see annual event and its ensemble of Ghana’s top comedic talents, 3 Faces of Jeffrey Nortey promises a night of wit, rhythm and reflection that will resonate long after the lights go down. Mark your calendars and be part of a celebration that is shaping the future of Ghanaian theatre.
