Over fifty tennis players are expected to participate in the annual Donyima Steel Complex tennis tournament in Kumasi.
The Amateur Tournament is an annual event for some categories for members of the 4 Garrison Officers Mess Tennis Club. Winner of this tourney would then be promoted to the “Professional” category of the club.
The tournament, sponsored by Donyma Steel Complex-a leading manufacturer of quality strips and roofing sheets will take place at the 4 Garrison Tennis Courts on Friday December 2, 2016.
This is the second time within this year that the company is sponsoring the event.
According to Club president Samuel Ampadu-Kyei, the event is to promote competition among amateur players of the club.
The championship is categorized into men and women singles with Donyma Steel Complex sponsoring the prizes.
